HAVERHILL — After squandering the lead in a first-game loss, Haverhill rebounded with three straight wins to defeat visiting Lawrence 3-1 last night.
The Hillies, which won the program's first North Division title last year in a victory over the Lancers, overcame that 32-30 loss in the first game to win the final three by scores of 25-23, 25-16 and 25-20.
Senior Drew Caruso paced Haverhill with 16 kills and five blocks while James Murray had 11 kills and Tom Olivera added 10. Zach Sindoni had 40 assists.
The Henriquez brothers paced Lawrence as Anibal had 15 kills and 12 service winners and Jeyson had a team-high eight digs.
