The fourth time was the charm for Pelham.
After losing three times in the Division 3 semifinals, the Pythons doubled up previously unbeaten Derryfield, 6-3, to earn a berth in tomorrow's final against a Hollis-Brookline team they beat earlier this season.
A defensive effort led by Brian Finney and Anthony Spirou that head coach Matt Regan termed "the best in the six years I've been here" did the trick.
Pelham held a three-goal lead most of the game and locked up the win when Derek DeFranzo's no-look pass set up Alec Paradis' third and final goal. Kevin DeAngelo kept his perfect faceoff string intact with 45 seconds left to allow the Pythons to run out the clock.
