Andover's boys hockey team gave first-year coach Mike Ciarletta a season-opening win, 3-0 over Billerica. Liam Centrella, Scott Campbell and Kyle Wakefield scored for the Warriors, who played strong defense.
"We're thrilled. ... We've been talking about this game for long time," said Ciarletta. "We talked about playing defense first and it worked."
