Jayde Dawson scored 23 points but Brooks could not recover from a six-point halftime defict and fell to Beaver Country Day, 63-53, in the semifinals in the Prep School Class B tourney.
The loss marked the final game for seniors Aaron Davis (10 points), Anthony Barry (9 points), Connor Mahoney (8), Tucker White, James Williams and Chad Rogers.
"I am so proud of this senior class and what they have done for Brooks basketall," said Brooks head coach John McVeigh. "They have been one of the most sucessful classes at Brooks (40-11 in the last two years). And what is better is that htey are better kids than players. I am lucky to coach a group like this."
