Sanford's OT goal propels Pinkerton in finals

Zach Sanford scored his second goal of the match 5:21 into overtime to lift top-seeded Pinkerton over fourth-seeded Trinity.
Sanford, who also connected in the first period, took a nice pass from J.D. Dudek, who had a second-period goal, for the game winner. Matt Marchman had a solid night in net, stopping 22 Pioneer shots.
The Astros take a nine-game winning streak into Saturday's 4:30 p.m. championship against second-seeded Manchester Memorial.
