Taylor Nelson netted two goals as No. 8 Georgetown girls soccer rolled to a 3-0 victory over No. 9 North Shore Tech in the first round of the Division 3 North tournament.
Georgetown will play at top-ranked Shawsheen in quaterfinals at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
Nelson scored the first goal while playing center-midfield, then scored the second goal while playing center-back on a ball well outside the 18.
"She had two great outside shots," Georgetown coach Colleen Gibbs said.
Gibbs said she doesn't know much about Shawsheen.
"We've got to come out strong and focus on playing our game," Gibbs said.
Nicoline Holland scored the Royals' other goal.
Ashley Mueskes had Georgetown's only assist.
