Two weeks off did little to slow down the Pinkerton Academy boys, who opened the New Hampshire Division 1 playoffs with a clean, 3-1, quarterfinal win over Merrimack.
Monday at 4 p.m., the Astros will now take on rival Londonderry on the turf at Stellos Stadium in the state semis.
Pinkerton has reached the state final four in six of the last seven years.
"These seniors have earned it and they should be very proud," said Astros coach Kerry Boles, who got two goals from Tim Wood and another from Tommy Martin.
"Now comes a major test ... Londonderry."
