Georgetown managed just two hits, but drew 10 walks and played stellar defense as the No. 10 Royals beat No. 7 West Roxbury 4-2 in the Division 4 North first round.
Ryan Browner was the winner, not allowing an earned run in three innings of releif, while C.J. Ingraham made four putouts and four assists at second base, including starting a key double play and brother Colby Ingraham had an RBI.
"Both our pitchers were outstanding," said Georgetown coach Mark Rowe. "And we backed it up with defense. Their pitcher was very erratic."
The Royals travel to face No. 2 Lowell Catholic on Monday at 4 p.m.
