After erupting for five runs in the top of the fourth, North Reading self-destructed in the bottom half of the frame with two key errors and three walks, allowing six Pentucket runs after two were out. That was all the scoring we'd see in the Sachems' 6-5 baseball win.


Adam Newell went six innings for the win, his first mound work since hurting his shoulder two weeks ago vs. North Andover.
