With the score tied, sophomore Andrew Deloury was hit by a pitch and moved to third on Burton Deady's pinch-single. With two outs, he scored the game-winner when Cam Farnham beat out an infield hit. Dustin Hunt earned the complete-game win, striking out three in a six-hitter.
