Four Merrimack College football players were named to the Football Gazette’s Super Region 1 team, led by Shawn Loiseau, who was a first-team honoree. second team selections included David Bellmont and Tony Johnson, while Greg Abelli was a third-team honoree.
Loiseau, the defensive Player of the Year, was the only first-team selection from the Northeast-10 Conference, while Merrimack led all Northeast-10 schools with four selections.
