The North Andover girls basketball team fell to top-seeded Woburn, 54-32, in the first round of the Division 1 North tournament. The Knights, who end their season 10-11, were led by 9 points from freshman Hannah Martin.

Freshman Ella Flanagan scored 15 points, classmate Hannah Martin and senior Norah Connors added 13 as North Andover's girls defeated Lynn English 48-40 to qualify for the state tournament with a 10-10 record.

Caitlin Panos celebrated senior night with a team-high 14 points with three 3s to help North Andover beat Lowell, 52-34. Elle Dadiego chipped in 10 rebounds for the Knights (9-9), and Hannah Whipple had 9 points and played well defensively.

NORTH ANDOVER — Haverhill's girls won the battle Friday night but they're hopeful they didn't lose the war.

Fighting for a playoff spot, the Hillies (8-9) held off North Andover, 52-47, to move an important step toward the tournament, but they may have taken a blow in that goal late in the third quarter.

Hannah Whipple scored a team-high 12 points, including three 3-pointers, as North Andover topped Tewksbury 37-35.

Four players scored between nine and 17 points, led by Norah Connors as North Andover disposed of Dracut, 68-60.

Norah Connors tossed in 19 points with 5 treys but Chelmsford beat North Andover, 52-42.

Norah Connors had 17 points with four 3-pointers to power North Andover past Lowell, 47-43.

Emily Downer continued her surge with 18 points and seven rebounds and Adrianna Niles had 13 points and eight boards as Central Catholic beat North Andover 63-51.

Trailing by 15 after three quarters, North Andover stormed back for a 45-43 win over Tewksbury. Caitlin Panos' game-winning runner in the lane came with three seconds left. Hannah Martin had 15 and Panos 12 points.
