After taking out No. 5 Masconomet on Thursday, No. 12 Central Catholic volleyball earned another upset victory, 3-0, over No. 4 Woburn in the Division 1 North quarterfinals. Sarah Janco and Katie Kirsch each had eight kills, and Rachel Hyatt had 21 assists.

Hallie Dunn had a monster game, leading No. 12 Central Catholic to an upset, 3-0, sweep of No. 5 Masconomet in the first round of the Division 1 North tournament. She had a team-high 15 digs, 13 service points and nine kills in the victory.

Central Catholic took it to the limit to qualify for the state tournament, defeating Lawrence in five games to make the cut.Rachel Hyatt had 29 assists for the Raiders (9-7).

Alexis Mancha had a season-high 19 kills along with 26 assists and 13 digs as Andover held off upset-minded Central Catholic 3-2 in volleyball. Sophia Wang was also big with 28 assists, 29 service points and 13 digs for the Warriors (15-2). Hallie Dunn had nine kills and 14 service points for Central.

LAWRENCE — Julia McCoy leaped with joy as the final kill in Methuen’s 3-1 win over Central Catholic Monday night slammed onto the court.

Hallie Dunn had eight kills and three blocks as Central Catholic's volleyball team moved over .500 (5-4) with a 3-1 win over Tewksbury.

Lawrence's volleyball team won its fourth straight, 3-1 over Central Catholic, as Alondra Davila delivered 22 kills.

Junior Alexis Mancha came through in the final two games for Andover, leading the Warriors to a 25-20 win in Game 4 then a convincing 15-6 win in Game 5 to close out a win over Central Catholic. She finished with 14 assists, 16 digs and five aces.

Haverhill rallied to defeat Central Caholic 3-2 with two freshmen pitching in in their first varsity action. Jada Burdier led with 11 kills and also had 15 digs and 4 aces while freshman Shiloh Osmer added 14 digs.  Shayla Doherty had 37 assists.
