LYNNFIELD — With Pentucket leading by one going into the bottom of the seventh, the skies opened up, prompting a brief rain delay. When the game resumed 10 minutes later, the Sachems couldn't get an out and wound up losing 6-5 on a walk-off single in Sunday's Division 3 North first round game.

Pentucket's Travis Bounsey ripped a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth to break a scoreless tie and lead his team to a 2-0 win over Saugus. Conor O'Neil pitched a shutout in the win and Cam Wolbach went 3 for 3 with a run scored and two stolen bases.

NORTH READING – Down 8-3 to Pentucket Regional early Tuesday, North Reading's baseball team looked ready to yield a piece of the Cape Ann League Kinney Division lead to rival Masconomet.

LYNN- The Pentucket Regional High School baseball team fell to the Lynnfield Pioneers 5-3 in the Pitching For Pete, Strikeout ALS Tournament at Fraser Field in Lynn.

Pentucket managed just a single hit, but pinch runner Connor O'Neil stole home in the sixth inning for the winning run in the Sachems' 2-1 victory over Newburyport. Jackson McKean scored the other Sachem run on a passed ball.

Pentucket's Connor O'Neil owned Amesbury yesterday, marching through nine brilliant frames as his teammates scraped together the winning run in extra innings, 2-1.

Pentucket used a six-run rally in the bottom of the sixth that was emphasized by a two-run triple from Cam Wolbach to pull ahead of Hamilton-Wenham for good. The craziest stat of the day though has to be all seven of Hamilton-Wenham's runs coming unearned. 

WEST NEWBURY – Pentucket pulled off a thrilling 3-2 comeback win over the Georgetown Royals in extra innings.

It was a wild ninth.

Jimmy Cleary pitched a complete game shutout for Pentucket, striking out four in the 1-0 win over Triton. Conor O'Neil drove in the lone run in the second inning.
