For the second straight year, Pinkerton’s Morgan Sansing took fifth at the girls Meet of Champions race to help pace the Astros to a New England qualifying spot, in fifth as a team.
Sansing finished the course in 18:25.5, which was 11 seconds faster than last year. She was backed up by Ariel Vaillancourt, who was 10th in 18:48.2 — almost exactly the same time she ran last year.
