No. 10 seed Pelham boys lacrosse didn't win yesterday but it put a scare into second-seedeed Plymouth. "I'm super proud," Pelham coach Joe Young said. "We competed all day. Their goalie made some great saves, too." The undergo Pythons lost 7-3 in the Division 3 quarterfinals but were tied 2-2 with Plymouth at halftime. Dustin Lubinger, Luke Tracy and Kevin Sabine scored Pelham's goal, Eric Guinasso added an assist and Collin Duffmarsh made 16 saves. Young said he'll miss the seniors but the team will have a lot of returning underclassmen next year. He enjoyed how this year's team gave a blue-collar effort.
