Sophomore Andrew Wells had a career-high 34 points that included five 3-pointers, classmate Ryan Grant added 10 points and fellow sophs Justin Reyes and Nate Frongillo also played well as Whittier clipped Greater Lowell 67-56.

From there, the Wildcats went on to an 80-75 win over the host school of the Greater Lowell TECH tourney. Ryan Grant led Whittier with 35 points, 13 rebounds and seven blocks. Wellls had 19 as the Wildcats improved to 4-1.
