Dany Belanger and Jacob Fudge each scored but the No. 12 Whittier boys soccer team lost 4-2 to No. 5 Boston International in the Division 3 North tournament yesterday. 

Jake Morton scored off an assist from Jacob Bradwell with 15 minutes left in the game to give Whittier a 1-1 tie with North Shore and clinch the Commonwealth Conference Small title, according to coach Jason Skinner.

Felipe Guimaraes scored two goals and assisted on two others as Whittier downed Fellowship Christian 4-1.

Jon Hewey made 13 saves, but his biggest came with about 1 minute left when he made a save with his hands on a point blank shot right at him. Hewey and Whittier boys soccer won 2-1 over the Minuteman. 

 Jacob Bradwell had a hat trick, Jon Hewey scored a goal and played well in net and Kendra Brasil had a goal and an assist as Whittier whipped Greater Lawrence 8-0.

Jake Bradwell and Danny Belanger both had hat tricks as Whittier riomped past Fellowship Christian 9-2. Bradwell (10) and Belanger (7) have now combined for 17 goals on the year for the unbeaten Wildcats.

Danny Belanger kicked off his season in style, scoring a whopping four goals and assisting on another as Whittier blasted Minuteman 6-2.
