Aiding his own complete-game cause, Eric Maltacea rapped out three hits for the Hornets (7-7) and got ample help from Bobby Rosano (three hits and three RBIs). Read More »It was one of those days for North Reading. Struggles on the mound and defensively combined with fortunate Hamilton-Wenham defense to give the Generals a walkoff 6-5 victory. Despite overthrowing two cutoff men, Hamilton got two Hornet runners out at the plate, then took advantage of an error and a mixup on a pitch to plate the winning run in the seventh inning.
