Sachems surge to win

Breanna Yocum (4 goals, 3 assists), Kayla O’Connor (5 goals, 4 assists) and Liz Jayne (4 goals, 3 assists) all starred as No. 7 Pentucket downed No. 10 Bishop Fenwick 21-14 in the Division 2 North first round. Hilary Dandurant made 11 saves to help lead the Sachems.

Kristen Pingree potted eight goals a Georgetown held off hard-charging Pentucket 20-18. Breanna Yocum scored six goals for the Sachems (9-4), who beat the Royals (4-7) 18-9 in their previous meeting this season.
