Tommy O'Connell tallied five goals to lead North Andover to an 11-2 win over rival Andover in the Coaches Challenge Cup tourney. Brien O'Connor made 17 saves for the Scarlet Knights, who will face Winchester in the final day of the tourney tomorrow at noon at Andover High.

General revenge

Despite the best efforts of goalie Brien O'Connor, Hamilton-Wenham's strong shooting and spirit earned the Generals a 6-5 victory over North Andover.

"Brien kept us in the game," Scarlet Knight head coach Steve Connolly said of O'Connor's 21-save effort. "But Hamilton beat us on ground balls, transition and hustle. They had a good day."

Knights move to 4-0

North Andover survived a sloppy, penalty-filled contest in which Peabody pitched a second-half shutout, holding on for a 7-3 victory. Defensive midfielder Zac Iovanella blanketed Peabody's top scorer, holding him to just one goal while scoring one himself. Garrett Alter won the majority of his faceoffs and sophomore Ernest Guerrero paced the Knights' offense with a pair of goals.
