Timberlane looked left for dead last night at Spaulding only to have the Red Raiders hand one away in the seventh. Trailing 4-3 with one out in the top of the seventh, the Owls had Dan Travaglini reach on a dropped strike three and Ryan McCarthy reach on an infield error. With two down, Matt Faia's nubber in front of home plate was thrown into right to score two runs. Lucas Alper plated the insurance run with a hit and two more scored on a Matt Sheehan walk and when P.J. Singster was hit by a pitch. Matt Faia earned the decision in the 7-4 Owls win with 4.1 scoreless innings of relief.
