Avenging an earlier non-league defeat, North Andover not only prevailed against Masconomet, 11-9, but earned  a share of the Cape Ann League Large title with Triton at 9-1. With Jenna Armstrong (walking pneumonia) out of the lineup, junior Maggie Samuelman stepped up huge for the Scarlet Knights with five goals and an assist. Freshman Pam Coufos drew the tough defensive assignment, faceguarding BU-bound Sidney Godett, and did an exemplary job along with Kelly O'Connor, who forced five turnovers.

Masconomet 13, Georgetown 10

Georgetown quieted a strong Masconomet offense in the second half but couldn't overcome an early deficit in an eventual 13-10 setback. Sophomore Jess Rosenthal and junior Sam Francesconi provided strong defensive play during the Royals comeback effort.

Andover freshman Jaclyn Torres broke out with four goals and two assists in her best game to date as the Golden Warriors recovered from an early 4-0 deficit to surge past Masconomet 19-13.
