 It was a tough evening on the hardwood for Greater Lawrence Tech, which came up on the wrong end of a pair of two-point thrillers. Shabeli Villa tossed in 22 for the Reggie girls, who held a one point lead in the final minute but fell to Greater Lowell, 51-49. The Gryphons got the better of the Greater Lawrence boys, 63-61, overcoming a 10-point halftime deficit. Joey Rivera led Greater Lawrence with 18.

Whittier's girls basketball team remained unbeaten (7-0), pulling away in the second half for a 60-48 victory over Greater Lowell. Catherine Roache led the way with 17 points and four assists.

Paola Gutierrez tallied a game-high 20 points and added a whopping 17 rebounds as Greater Lawrence held on late for a 46-43 victory over Greater Lowell. 

Kate St. Peter and a stifling team defense earned PMA its second win, 33-23 over Greater Lowell. St. Peter had 20 points and 15 rebounds, making one basket less than the entire Gryphon team (8 field goals).
