Meg Jackson scored seven minutes into overtime to snap a scoreless tie vs. Spaulding and give the Timberlane girls soccer team its first win of the season. Ally Mills pried the ball loose and gave Jackson a good look and she found the corner. Jess Barrett (4 saves) made some key saves late in regulation for the 1-5 Owls.

Fine freshmen powers Lancers

Lydia Simmons continued a magnificant start to her high school career, netting four goals in Londonderry's 7-1 drubbing of Spaulding. Simmons has eight goals through her first three high school games. Tori McCombs added a pair for the Lancers and Kelley Griffin chipped in with a goal and two assists.
