Jacques unstoppable in Salem win

NASHUA, N.H. — Max Jacques wasn't having a very good day.

On a cloudy, rainy Saturday afternoon at Stellos Stadium, the junior was getting stacked up effectively by host Nashua South. Despite a 3-yard touchdown run, he struggled for 36 yards on his first eight carries, his last three attempts going for zero, zero and zero yards. On top of that, the Panthers held a 13-7 lead.

upset slips through Timberlane's fingers

NASHUA, N.H. Trailing by three with 4:55 left to play, and facing a 4th-and-3 from its opponent’s 8-yard line, Timberlane coach Kevin Fitzgerald made the decision to send out his field goal team to tie the game. But, after calling a time out, he reversed his position and sent out his offense and try to take the lead.
