The tragic death of senior Central Catholic senior softball player Rebecca Solomon forced the postponement of all Raiders sporting events yesterday. Athletic director Peter Paladino believes that most Central teams will resume play today. The softball team will need to make up yesterday’s game with Tewksbury and today’s scheduled game with Arlington Catholic by Monday.

Bergeron allowed just four hits and struck out 14 in the battle for first place in the Merrimack Valley Conference. Lauren Decredico also gave up four hits to pick up the win.
