Jessica Zeidler (1 for 4, two RBIs, run) and Chelsea Mattinson (2 for 4, RBI, run) both had RBI singles in the decisive fifth frame. Courtney Marchand set the table from the leadoff spot, going 2 for 3 with two runs scored.

Julia Gray and Amanda Vaudreuil were both 3 for 4 and Gray slugged her third homer of the year. Sarah Bracken was 2 for 2 with three RBIs for Salem, 4-1, which has now scored 77 runs in five games. Dominique Heres and Val Bauer, meanwile, combined on a one-hitter, striking out 13.
