What a start!!

Pinkerton shut out Exeter, 4-0, and did so by scoring three goals in the first period when they owned a 13-2 shot advantage. "We came out on fire," said Pinkerton head coach Casey Kesselring. Jason Carace, Ted McCarran, Nick Currier and Alex Campbell each scored for the 8-3 Astros. Kevin Kent earned the shutout by making 16 saves.
