Pinkerton boys basketball fell to Trinity 74-57 in the New Hampshire Division 1 semifinals. The Astros finished the season 16-5, while Trinity advances to the Division 1 title game, to face Goffstown at the University of New Hampshire.

Marshall dominates, Astros move on

Jackson Marshall scored a game-high 29 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as No. 4 Pinkerton held off No. 5 Portsmouth 56-50 in the Division 1 quarterfinals. 
Anthony Chinn added 10 points and eight rebounds as the Astros (20-3), who will next take on top-seeded Trinity on Wednesday (7:30 p.m.) The location is TBA.

Jenkins, Astros rally for win

Pinkerton trailed by as many as 12 points in the first half, then stepped up its defense and went on a 19-4 run in the third quarter on the way to beating archrival Londonderry 64-58. Sean Jenkins scored a career-high 15 points, many set up by great passes from Anthony Chinn, who added 13 points and six rebounds. Jackson Marshall scored a team-high 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.

Marshall's law

Jackson Marshall had another outstanding game to lead Pinkerton to a hard fought 58-43 win over Keene on Saturday afternoon. Marshall finished with a season-high 30 points with 10 rebounds and scored the Astros' first 11 points of the game. Anthony Chinn also chipped in 13 points with nine rebounds and five assists, and Quinn Hammer came off the bench to tally eight rebounds, three assists and two steals along with his two points.
