Pelham zooms to quick romp

 

 TILTON, N.H. — Undefeated Pelham wasted no time in putting away winless Winnisquam Saturday.

The Pythons (8-0) scored 21 points in the first quarter and was ahead 47-0 at halftime when the officials called the game because of a shortage of Winnisquam players.

Pelham stays unbeaten, whips Monadnock

 

PELHAM —Monadnock, compared to other opponents, gave Pelham a bit of a test Friday night.

The host Pythons only led 20-8 at halftime before pulling away in the third quarter for a 40-8 victory.Still, the 32-point difference was the narrowest of the season.

Bodrenrader (3 TDs), Pythons crush Campbell

PELHAM — Campbell came into Friday night's tilt with a 5-1 record but the visitors were outclassed by unbeaten Pelham. Kevin Bodenrader had two touchdown runs and a TD catch in a 41-0 whitewash. Jake Travis threw only three times but two went for scores (to Bodenrader and Jake Cawthron). Travis also returned a pick 55 yards for the game's final points midway through the third quarter. Pelham (5-0) is scheduled to host 2-3 Monadnock on Friday (Oct. 22). The Huskies' game this weekend vs. Winnisquam was cancelled.

Carroll, unbeaten Pythons drub Inter-Lakes

MEREDITH, N.H. — It was 50-0 with 5:56 to play in the second quarter and that's the way it ended as Pelham waltzed past Inter-Lakes. Alex Carroll and Ethan Demmons both scored two touchdowns for the 5-0 Pythons. Jake Travis ran and passed for a score against the overmatched hosts (1-4). Pelham hosts Trinity of Manchester Friday at 7 p.m. Trinity is 4-0 heading into Saturday night's game against Monadnock.

PELHAM — The Pelham Express churned on at full speed Thursday night.

The defending Division 3 state football champions rolled to yet another victory, demolishing ConVal 61-6.

Travis, unbeaten Pelham hammer Kearsarge

NORTH SUTTON — Early in the first quarter Friday night, Kevin Bodenrader blocked a punt and Alex Carroll recovered it in the end zone for the touchdown. The onslaught had begun and Pelham led 52-0 early in the third quarter. The backups then got plenty of playing time as the Pythons (3-0) drubbed Kearsarge 52-8. Pelham carried 38 times for 193 yards and didn't attempt a single pass against the now 0-2 hosts. Jake Travis scored three times while Ethan Demmons scored twice. Pelham, which has outscored the opposition 154-21, hosts winless ConVal (0-3) Friday at 7 p.m.

Pelham wallops Laconia, improves to 2-0

LACONIA — Pelham manhandled Laconia Friday night, 54-7, to improve to 2-0. Alex Carroll and Kevin Bodenrader each scored twice and the Pythons scored on the ground, through the air, on a punt return and an interception return.
