No. 6 Andover baseball fell behind early and could not recover, falling to No 2 Lincoln-Sudbury 7-3 in the Division 1 North semifinals on Friday. 

Star Golden Warriors (12-5) catcher Nolan Schirmer delivered a two-run double in the fifth. Anthony Teberio drove in the Warriors' other run. 

No. 6 Andover struck for three runs in the top of the first inning, the rode a dominant performance by starter Andrew Smithson to defeat No. 3 Lynn English 3-0 in the Division 1 North quarterfinals.

Andover beat Haverhill 7-3. Winning pitcher Aidan Ritter went the first six innings with seven strikeouts and helped his cause with four hits, two RBIs and a run. Nolan Schirmer added three RBI.

Trevor Crosby hit a 2-run home run in the fourth, and North Andover bounced back from Wednesday's tough to Andover by beating the Golden Warriors 3-1. Aiden Lynch drove in the Scarlet Knights' other run.

Nolan Schirmer had a two-run double in the sixth for Andover that proved to be the difference in a 5-4 win over Dracut.

Aidin Ritter had a walk-off RBI single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh to give Andover an exciting 7-6 win over Lawrence. Nolan Schirmer had two doubles and a pair of RBIs for the Warriors (5-3).

Senior Ryan Grecco faced one batter over the minimun as Andover tripped Methuen, 4-1. Grecco fanned 11 and gave up just a second inning homer to Luis Tejada. P.J. Reming had two hits, a run and an RBI for AHS.

Anthony Teberio fanned eight and gave up just two hits as Andover beat Tewksbury, 11-1, in five innings. Nolan Schirmer, Chase Lembo and P.J. Reming each drove in two runs.

Starter Ryan Cloutier (7 strikeouts) and Tyler Normandie combined to scatter six hits over seven innings and Central Catholic shook off Thursday's comeback loss to beat Andover 2-1. George Chaya had two hits for the Raiders.
