It was 18-2 after a period and Andover wasn't going to be denied in a 53-28 waltz past Haverhill in the MVC Cup Division 1 semifinals. Richie Shahtanian and Ryan MacLellan scored 11 each for the 11-0 Golden Warriors. Aidan Cammann contributed eight points. Philip Cunningham scored a game-high 12 in defeat. It will be Andover vs. Central Catholic for the Division 1 MVC crown.

Haverhill's inside game was too much as the Hillies won a 62-58 triple OT thriller at Methuen. The Rangers' Mitchell Crowe (20 points, 4 3's) hit a 3-pointer with about 10 seconds left to force OT. The OTs were all defense (59-59 after first, 55-55 after second). In the end, there was just too much Phillip Cunningham (21 points, 12 rebounds) and Junior Efosa (18 points and 13 rebounds). 

Methuen's Jason Perello hit a top-of-the-key 3-pointer at the buzzer to force OT but host Haverhill pulled out the 49-46 Senior Day win in OT. Seniors Junior Efosa had 12 points and 9 rebounds and Phillip Cunningham added 11 and 10 boards despite fighting foul problems throughout. Freshman Colin Snyder had some key steals off the bench. The Rangers were without Andrew Lussier and Isaac Allen due to injury. They may be back for Friday's game.

LAWRENCE – When a late scheduling change brought them home for the first time this season, the Central Catholic Raiders apparently needed time to adjust to the friendly confines.

Central was down 7 with about 2 minutes left but beat Haverhill, 48-46, on a Marcus Rivera 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Phillip Cunningham (19 points, 12 rebounds) and Junior Efosa (career-high 21 points, 10 rebounds) starred as Haverhill sank Dracut 73-53.

Haverhill led by 2 at the half but Andover outscored the Hillie boys 24-4 in the third en route to a 67-45 win. Ryan MacLellan had 18 and Ayn Aruri 8 in the win.

 Junior Aidan Cammann erupted for 28 points to pace unbeaten Andover (3-0) over Haverhill, 57-50. Angel Burgos has 15 for the Hillies.

Lowell won the first matchup but it was all Haverhill in this one, 61-35. Phillip Cuningham pumped in a team-high 16 points while Junior Efosa, Elijah Haas and Enrique Alvarado chipped in with 9 apiece. Alvarado did a nice job at the point and Efosa controlled the paint.

Haverhill could get nothing going offensively and lost to Lowell, 53-35. Junior Efosa had 10 points and Phillip Cunningham 6 for the Hillies.
