SALEM, N.H. — With the game, and a trip to the Division 1 state semifinals on the line, Salem’s Aidan McDonald had a hunch.
“They brought their big running back in, so I knew they were going to run up the middle,” said McDonald, a linebacker. “It was a lucky guess. I went in, wrapped him up, and I think Jake (Brady) and a few other guys came in to bring him down. It was unreal.”
Read More »LONDONDERRY — Windham could do nothing to slow defending Division 1 state champion Londonderry and star QB Dylan McEachern, as the Jaguars fell 41-0 on Friday night.
Stephen Mague led Windham (0-2), rushing for a team-high 94 yards on eight carries and making nine tackles. Jackson Milano made a team-best 13.5 tackles, while Keegan Parke made 11 stops.
But McEachern continued to surge for Londonderry (3-0). He rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns and threw a third score.
Windham faces another tough task in its regular season finale, hosting Salem (2-1) next Saturday (1 p.m.)
