LOWELL — Given a second chance, Andover captain Olivia Schwinn-Clanton was right on the money Monday afternoon.

Her free kick from about 30 yards out early in the second half curved beautifully over the head of the Acton-Boxboro goalie and into the back corner of the net to give the Golden Warriors what proved to be the game-winner in a 2-1 Division 1 North victory.

 Rachel Souza's second half goal gave Andover a 1-0 victory over rival North Andover in a battle of MVC powers. The Golden Warriors improved to 11-2-3, while the Scarlet Knights fell to 10-3-3. 

The Andover girls soccer team rolled to its sixth straight win after taking down Lowell, 4-0. Rachel Souza scored twice for the surging Warriors, who are now 7-1-2 for the season.

Emma Azzi scored a second-half goal as Andover girls soccer handed rival North Andover its first loss of the season, 1-0. Izzy Shih made seven saves for the Golden Warriors (4-1-2). The Knights fell to 7-1-1. 

Olivia Schwinn-Clanton and Maya Schwinn-Clanton each scored a goal as Andover girls soccer earned its first win of the season, 5-1 over Dracut.
