North Andover's girls track team clipped Haverhill 99-46 to finish 5-0 in the MVC large school division for the first time since joing in the league in 2012. Caitlin Wessel and Emily Grant had personal bests in the shot and discus respectively. Trinity Tapper ran a season best in the 200, a 26.59.
Read More »Haverhill senior Jayla Kitchings shattered the school's long jump record with a mark of 18-8, 10 inches better than Phoung Nguyen's 17-7 in 1996. Despite Kitchings' record, along with a win in the 100-meter hurdles, Andover topped Haverhill, 85-58. Abby Buckley won both the shot put and discus, while Julianna Kennedy took the 200-meter and Olivia Foster won the pole vault. Both ran a leg of Andover's winning 4x100, too.
