The Central Catholic boys lacrosse team cruised into the Division 1 North quarterfinals with a 17-2 win over Cambridge Rindge & Latin. Shane McInnis led the way with four goals, as nine different Raiders scored in the rout. Central will host Lexington on Friday (5 p.m.).

With a 9-1 victory over Chelmsford, the Central Catholic boys lacrosse team clinched the Merrimack Valley Conference title, having gone 11-1 in league play. Connor Finneran scored three goals and David Olsen made 20 saves in the win.

David Olsen (1 save), Adam Nadeau (7 saves) and Jameson Keeves (2 saves) combined on a shutout as Central Catholic bested Haverhill 16-0.

Connor Finneran was the man for Central Catholic through the bitter cold and rain on Tuesday, scoring three times to lead his team pas Billerica in a nailbitter, 6-5.

Central Catholic boys lacrosse outscored North Andover, 4-1, in the fourth quarter to come back for a 9-8 victory. Michael Finneran led the Raiders with three goals and David Olsen made 12 saves. Zach LeTendre was a force at the X, winning 19 of 21 face-offs for Central.

Shane McInnis scored five goals and Deven DeBay scored four times as Central Catholic topped Tewksbury 18-2. Michael Finneran added a goal and five assists.

Central Catholic boys lacrosse outscored Chelmsford, 6-3, in the second half to earn an 8-7 victory. Shane McInnis led the way in attack with three goals, while David Olsen kept the Raiders in the game with 17 saves in the cage.

Connor Finneran and Michael Finneran each fired in four goals to lead Central Catholic boys lacrosse to a 17-5 win over Lowell. Deven Debay had three goals and Shane McInnis added two.

Shane McInnis had a hat trick and three other players had two goals as Central Catholic opened its season with an impressive 11-4 win over North Andover. Connor Finneran had two goals and two assists for the Raiders.
