The Pentucket girls (69) placed second to North Reading (78.5) at the CAL Meet. Sachem winners were Madi Krohto (high jump), Syeira Campbell (school record 42.88 300 meters) and the 4x200 team of Krohto, Campbell, Emily Rubio and Kaley Enright. Krohto was named the Kinney Division MVP and meet MVP.
Read More »What a start of the season it was for Pentucket's Madi Krohto. The talented junior won the high-jump with a 5-5 1/4 (a new school record), then took home the 55 hurdles in 8.96 to help the Sachems sweep a tri-meet with North Reading and Triton. Triton got a great debut from freshman Julia Beauvais, who won the 55-meter dash (7.56) and placed second overall in the long jump (17-0 1/4).
