Angelica Hurley finished with a season-high 24 points on four 3s and also had 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead Pentucket to a 51-32 win over North Reading.

Comeback falls short

The Amesbury girls basketball team trailed by 12 points late and nearly came all the way back, but North Reading held on to hand the Indians a 43-41 loss. Flannery O'Connor led the Indians with 12 points and freshman Avery Hallinan added 11 points on a 3-pointer and eight free throws.
