Much improved AJ Suliveras was 3-0 at 160 pounds as Windham swept a quad-meet to improve to 18-10 to end the dual-meet season with an 18-10 record.

Maslanek still unbeaten

 

Sophomore Owen Maslanek remained unbeaten (32-0) with three wins at 132 and Evan Haskins, Nick Carroll  and Patrick Soonthornprapuert were all perfect on the dauy but Pelham was just 1-2 in a quad meet.

Pentucket wins crown

 

Surprising Pentucket won its second tournament of the season, edging Spaulding, Vt. by one point to capture the Gionet Tournament in Pelham.

Tyler Knox remained unbeaten to capture the 106-pound title and Jason Young provided more gold with the 182-pound crown. Nic Williamson  (132) and Jacob Codair (220) both came in second.

Maslanek prevails again

 

Pelham sophomore Conor Maslanek had two pins and remained unbeaten as he captured the 195-pound crown in impressive fashion at the Chelmsford Tournament.

Pelham relied on its upper-weights to squeak out a 39-36 win over Mascoma, getting pins from Nick Carroll at 182, Ryan Leuteritz at 220 and Tony Zolt at heavyweight.

Maslanek takes first

 

Despite moving up three weight classes, Pelham sophomore Conor Maslanek is doing just fine, thank you. In fact, he took first place Saturday at the Tyngsboro Tournament to pace the Pythons to fifth place overall. Heavyweight Tony Zolt was second for Pelham.
