Freshman Kristina Allard won the 400 and long jump and placed second in the 200 to lead Sanborn to a third-place finish at the Division 2 State Meet. Megan Sheehan broke her own school record to take second in the discus. Teammate Kaylen LaChapelle, another talented frosh, won the triple jump.
Pelham went 1-2 in the high jump with Mia Herrling winning another state crown.
Mia Herrling took home gold in the high jump at the Londonderry Invitational. The Pelham senior was the only athlete to clear 5-2. Elsewhere for the Pythons, freshman Gwenyth Dahlinger took second in the 100 meter (12.98) and fifth in the 200 (26.59).

Read More »It was a good day for Salem's Katya Rojco at the Kiwanis freshman-sophomore meet. She placed first in the 300 hurdles (48.28), and also came in second in the long jump (16-0). Other locals finishing first were Timberlane's Hailey Fontaine in the javelin, Sanborn's Kristina Allard in the long jump and the 200 meter, Hannah Ehlers in the high jump and Kaylen LaChapelle in the 100 hurdles, and Pinkerton's Macy Graves in the 800 and Meghan Cross in the 3200.
