Stage set

Triton softball downed Manchester Essex 15-5 on Thursday, improving to 15-1 on the season and setting the stage for a Cape Ann League showdown with undefeated North Reading on Monday. Triton has now won 12 games in a row, with the team's only loss all season coming against the Hornets back in April.

Hayley Catania had another big day for Amesbury, going 3 for 3 with two runs and two RBIs while also pitching a complete game with 10 strikeouts in the team's 9-3 win over Manchester Essex. Sydney Daileanes also went 2 for 2 with a run and an RBI.

Paige Gouldthrope crushed a grand slam and pitched a complete game for the Clippers in their 10-6 victory at home. Olivia Salvatore tripled in two runs while Sarah Linehan caught a strong game behind the plate while going 2-for-3.
