Pentucket's Veasey Jackson got his first varsity win in his first try, getting the victory at third singles 6-4, 6-2 to help the Sachems beat North Reading 4-1. Cory Foster, Jake Murray and the team of Min Bachrach and Liam McDonough won their matches in straight sets as well to help Pentucket improve to 2-1 on the season.
