Riley Cote, Cassidy Gruening, Kelly Golini and Carolyn Curley all scored as Methuen-Tewksbury dumped Franklin, 4-1, in the first round of the Division 1 state open tourney. Kaia Hollingsworth stopped 19 shots for the win. "We just played a complete team game with four different goal-scorers," said Red Rangers coach Sarah Oteri. Brenna Greene and junior assistant captain Megan Forbes were the defensive leaders for 21-2 Methuen-Tewksbury.
