NA golfers edged

 

North Andover's golfers missed qualifying for the Division 1 state meet by one stroke, finishing third to St. John's Prep and Lowell. Matt Lucey led North Andover with a 75 at the Bass Rocks Golf Club in Gloucester while Haverhill's Troy Donahue fired a 76.

Donahue wins MVC Championship

Haverhill junior Troy Donahue was the medalist at the MVC Golf Championships at Vesper CC, shooting a 76 to lead the field, but Central Catholic won the team title after Alex McCool, Max Hagan and Mikey Yfantopolus all shot 78 for a combined score of 234.
