haverhill sophomore Sam Prescott seemed eager to return to the mat Saturday. Out briefly with bruised ribs, Prescott came back strong at the Hillie duals, pinning five straight opponents at 145 as the Hillies finished second in the dual-meet tournament.

Central rolls

 

 Central Catholic romped to the Winnacunnet Tournament title Saturday, scoring 229 points, far ahead of runner-up Exeter. Haverhill wrestled well and finished third.

In an unusual final, Central sophomore Tyler Glynn defeated his freshman brother, Mike, to win the 106-pound title to get the Raiders started and Greg Spero overcame a sizable deficit to prevail at 113.

Unbeaten in D2

 

Windham's wrestling team routed Winnacunner 51-6 to remain unbeaten in Division 2. Ben Wentworth had a big pin at 152 and heavyweight Mike Furey capped the night with a pin.
