Pinkerton volleyball came back from a 2-0 deficit, but ended up losing in the decisive fifth set 15-13 to lose to Hollis-Brookline in the first round of the N.H. Division 1 state tournament. Amelia Graves had 17 kills and Sara Metzger had 34 assists.

Pinkerton nearly stunned Bishop Guertin but fell 3-2 as BG won Game 4 then took 17-15 game 5 thriller. BG wins game 4 then 17-15. Sara Metzger had 30 assists and 18 service points in defeat.

Tough loss

Pinkerton and Merrimack volleyball went the distance in their season opener, with the Astros ultimately losing 3-2 in five sets, four of which were decided by just two points. Amelia Graves led the Astros with 14 kills, and Sara Metzger had 43 assists and 16 service points.
