Andover clinches MVC Large

The Andover girls swimming and diving team capped off another MVC Large championship, beating Chelmsford 94-81 to finish the season 12-0 overall. Freshman Ashley Grover won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:02.29, and she was also on the winning 200-medley relay.

Burke wins MVC Diving championship

Central Catholic's Cecelia Burke took the top prize at the MVC Diving Championships, scoring a 455.50 to edge out Haverhill's Megan Carroll (432.45) for first place. Other top finishers included Carroll in second, Andover's Sydney Ho (427.95) in third, Andover's Maddie Quill (387.90) in fourth and North Andover's Alison DelMarco (368.45) in fifth.

The Warriors heard about the 2007 heartbreak, when Acton-Boxboro snapped Andover’s 99-meet winning streak that dated back to 1999.
