HAVERHILL — The Haverhill girls soccer team completely destroyed Brighton Academy on Friday, scoring six goals in the first 10 minutes en route to a 10-0 win in the first round of the Division 1 North tournament.
Haverhill got three goals from Sydney Owen and two from Amy Hunt, and Audrey Therriault added a goal and three assists to pace the offense. The score was 7-0 at halftime and spent the majority of the last 60 minutes playing its reserves.
