HAVERHILL — The Haverhill girls soccer team completely destroyed Brighton Academy on Friday, scoring six goals in the first 10 minutes en route to a 10-0 win in the first round of the Division 1 North tournament.

Haverhill got three goals from Sydney Owen and two from Amy Hunt, and Audrey Therriault added a goal and three assists to pace the offense. The score was 7-0 at halftime and spent the majority of the last 60 minutes playing its reserves.

Freshmen goalie Felicya DeCicco stepped up big time for Haverhill after an unfortunate leg injury suffered by the Hillies starting net minder Jessica Kramer in the team's last game against Central Catholic may have ended her season. DeCicco made 9 saves for the Hillies, and Sydney Owen scored a break away goal with less than two minutes left in the game to give Haverhill the 2-1 win over Billerica. 

Caitlin Regan netted a career-best four goals to lead Central Catholic soccer to a 5-0 win over Haverhill. Elayna Grillakis scord the other Raider goal.

Haverhill's Jessica Kramer made 10 saves and Methuen's Megan Langlois stopped 13 shots as the two teams played to a 0-0 tie.

Allie Rodrigues stopped seven shots as North Andover blanked Haverhill 1-0. Jilian Good scored in the 60th minute. The Knights survived when a last-minut Hillie shot hit the post. 

Kylee Murphy took a pass from Amanda Van Cor and scored with 14 minutes to play to give Haverhill a 1-0 win over Lowell.

Central Catholic goalie Amanda Fay didn't need to make a save but she had an assist as the Raiders scored all their goals in the second half in a 3-0 win over Haverhill. Elayna Grillakis scored twice for Central.
