North Reading Hornets Boys Ice Hockey '15-'16

HORNETS ELIMINATED

Sophomore Nicco Pastore netted a pair of goals, but North Reading fell to Lincoln-Sudbury, 5-4, in overtime of the Division 2 North quarterfinal game.
Eric Holden, who had an L-S hat-trick in regulation, picked up an assist on the game-winner, just 57 seconds into overtime for L-S, the No. 7 seed.
John Merullo and Tyler Calos had goals for North Reading, which ends up 14-5-3.

Knights in stunner

 

North Andover's surging hockey team scored three goals in the third period to stun North Reading 4-3. Dana Rodrigues scored both of his goals in the third period for the Knights (8-5-2), including the game-winner. Matt Bosco had a goal and two assists and Ben Carlson made 25 saves in net. The Hornets dropped to 11-2-1.

North Reading pounds Amesbury

The North Reading hockey team blitzed Amesbury for a 5-0 win on opening night, with Michael Driscoll recording two goals and two assists and Patrick Driscoll tallying a goal and three assists. Amesbury goalie Jake Harlow played well despite the loss, making 47 saves on 52 shots.
